About

Some businesses start with a big idea.

Flour Child started with a really disappointing pastry case and a baker who was really determined to make a biscotti worth eating.

Meet the Bakers

Crystal's obsession started with a specialized baking course at one of England's premier artisan food schools-and a growing frustration with every pastry back home. Nobody was getting biscotti right; great coffee was routinely paired with stale, flavorless afterthoughts.

So she took matters into her own hands.

Guided by British artisan techniques and joined by her husband, Joshua, Crystal began crafting small-batch biscotti from their home kitchen.

What started at their kitchen counter quickly became in-demand, and has grown into a full-fledged USDA-certified commercial operation. Today, their team bakes for some of the finest coffee shops in the country.

Turns out goodness scales pretty well when you care enough to try.

We’ve added to our lineup since that first batch of biscotti. Today Flour Child makes small-batch biscotti, house-made cookies, fresh sourdough, and more, including gluten free and vegan options.

Prepped fresh. Shipped frozen. Tastes anything but.
